James Dondero Partners With Local Dallas Philanthropist, Linda Owen

James Dondero is the president and co- founder of an institution known as Highland Capital Management. He is based in Dallas. His company has done very well since it was started several years ago. This is because he is very experienced especially in the credit and equity markets, having worked in the industry for more than three decades.

Recently, James Dondero partnered with Linda Owen to offer strategic directions to HCM philanthropic activities. Linda Owen is a civic leader who is also based in Dallas. She is also the former president of an institution known as Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation. HCM is planning to expand its charitable programs, and this partnership comes at the right time.

The former president of Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation will now be working as the giving manager of HCM, operating closely with Dallas Foundation. According to Dondero, HCM has recognized the importance of having a dedicated professional to handle the company’s contributions so that they can make a significant impact. The company has expanded its philanthropic activities in the recent past, and a professional will come in handy. The new giving manager has been in such positions for some time now, and she has a record or building very efficient private-public partnerships in the country. She also shares HCM’s vision of making a difference in the community.

HCM makes its contributions through the Dallas Foundation, and every year, a total of over three million is donated. Most of the money is directed towards supporting veteran causes, healthcare, education and Dallas society. Linda will be in charge of these funds, and she will ensure that it will make a difference to all the beneficiaries.

While she was working as the president of Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation, Linda Owen was responsible for the development of the Klyde Warren Park that is located in Dallas. This project ended in 2012. Before getting this position, she was working as the CEO of a company known as Real Estate Council.
